For the 56

Might swap out this regulator.

Bought for my Ford trk. But ..going original.

The Ford is doing what the Packard gauges were doing.

Making a new rod was a pitb.

Had to mill out rod that twisted off , then finish with a drill

Was able to tap deeper into the carb body., now threading the rod,
1/4 20 die quarter rod. Thread would go into body.
Perfect.

But not a nut. Had to turn down rod. After 3 trys I got it right
And 3 feet of rod

Soaked carb , got it back together,
Leak , and think this plug has leak since I got the carb. Always smelled gas.

Jb weld for the time being.

Packard has those as expans plugs, nope. Welch plugs.
