Thermostat Housing

A couple of years ago, the first time I pulled my engine apart, I had cleaned up and painted my thermostat housing black. Someone, I think Kevin, pointed out that from factory it was gray and I haven't slept well since. But I'm going to sleep better now because it's gray again! Well, I may still lose a bit of sleep, it's not battleship gray.

Ignore that horrid gear style hose clamp, it was replaced with an original spring clamp when I replaced rad hoses.

Always working to make the Cavalier the same as it was in 1953! Screws, clamps, thermostat housing, etc.

Good job and yes, it should be grey. The studs appear to be set a bit long but maybe I’ve not looked closely at one of these for a while so maybe forgetting.

Studs must be okay, they're all the way into the block.
