Looking for a fuel pump for my 51 200 (288). I’m sure some googling and forum searching would get me an answer but I’d prefer to just get a recommendation from the experts here…where is the best place to go get one, part numbers, any do’s and dont’s to watch out for, haven’t installed one before.

Thanks in advance.

Try Max Merritt. They may have a rebuilt one in stock in exchange for your core. There are rebuilders too that will rebuild your pump, but the wait period can be long and there is shipping both ways. Others here will be along shortly with some other suggestions.

Do you HAVE one that needs rebuilt, or don't even have one to begin with?

You can get a rebuild kit from Max Merritt and rebuild it yourself if you're handy that way. Or get a rebuilt from Max Merritt as mentioned. Or maybe there is someone local that can rebuild it for you? Always nice to deal locally incase you have issues.
