If you download the owners and service manuals on this site, you can go on ebay or one of the vendors and try and find a NOS regulator. The service letters, also on this site, will advise you if there is a later regulator that was retrofitted.
If your goal is just to get it running, I think you could get a generic 6v regulator from Napa or other just for now. Good luck, and welcome!
