Good Attitude, Gregg.

Yes, employed is good!
All the work is making it yours for sure.
Are you planning on the gray-blue as your color?
I think it is a rich mix. Goes so well with the 41 lines.
Thanks for the blog.

Thanks so much for the kind words. It is my intention to put the car back as it came from the factory. I like the Barola Blue and Silver French Gray. What I thought was cool was the color of the interior. Cars of this era and price range could have less than exiting interiors. The gray fabric and blue cord match the exterior so well.

You are right! Used rugs are great in the winter when you are in a cold garage, saves dropped tools and parts from hitting the concrete too!

Gregg,

I mean this link as encouragement. When I see your color, I see it the way it was meant to be?

AND

And about 5 engine pictures there too.

What do you think? Did you see this before on Pinfo.

To pick nits, the car in the attachment looks like it's Algiers Blue over Legion Blue, whereas this terrific barn find is Silver French Grey over Barola Blue. I like 'em both. The silver over blue is in the sales literature.

The links are a great encouragement and the Packard is beautiful. Thanks a lot for the photos. I might ask for some more photos as I progress. My car is Silver French Grey over Barola Blue.
Just got in for the week-end and I plan to continue the removal of bright work. I have divided the bright work in to three workable piles: Chrome plated Steel items to be re-chromed, pot metal to be repaired and re-plated, and Stainless to be polished.

The last ('40-'42) "Senior Junior" cars of the pre-war era are some of the classiest mass produced cars ever built.

Gotta love that "One Twenty" script nameplate!
