IIRC the FIRST offering of No. 7 radiator cleaner was by DuPont ca. 1970, maybe earlier. Sometime later ca. 1983 Borden picked it up.

Taking the following steps can help prevent harm to your vehicle.
1.Open the hood to allow heat to disperse faster.
2.Do not open your radiator pressure cap while the engine is hot
3.Use the heater to disperse engine heat.
