I TRIED TO WRITE YOU BUT AFTER A 15 MINUTE EXPLAINATION MY LETTER WAS BLOWN OFF. I FOUND A MECHANICAL SEAL IN A POOL STORE A PS1000. HAD TO GRIND OF THE FLANGE OF THE SEAL AND THEN MADE A SPACER LETS SAY 60 THOUSANDS BECAUSE THE SEAL WAS TO DEEP.MY FIRST LETTER WAS MUCH MORE DETAILED.

BY THE WAY I HAVE A 1951 288 I BELIEVE THE BLOCKS ARE THE SAME I DON'T KNOW IF THE WATER PUMPS ARE THE SAME
