Thanks for the numbers. Somewhat interesting, the Patrician built just before it, 5682-3098, has survived and has a thief-proof # just a few digits away. One of the few instances thus far where the 55/56 data shows some consistency.

How many have survived? No one has a truly accurate count. I only have matching vehicle number and thief-proof number sets on about 100 cars. The Packard Club roster lists about 800 55/56 cars in the hands of it's members, anybody's guess how many others are out there, perhaps an equal number? Perhaps more?
