Hi,

My Clipper has left Pennsylvania in 1989.
I'm interested in the times that my car was still in the USA.
Is there a trick to find out who was/where the previous owner(s) and other nice to know items about this car.
I tried allready with the Vin code but I couldn't find anything.

The VIN is 56225301

not to discourage you, but....i have been trying for a while now....not even my local car registration office has packard listed as a make....or knows how to look up this type of VIN number, so......good luck. my car was registered last in 1974 in texas and they can't find anything. i think i may have even posted this question before on here.

I had to get mine registered and insured under "Studebaker" when I did mine. The insurance company found it listed under "Studebaker", which really irked me.

yeah, they had studebaker with who i checked with, but it wanted a letter to start the VIN and obviously i don't have a letter starting mine...so i didn't know what to do there.

what letter did yours start with?

Letter? It's "5682", there was no letter and they never mentioned it.

i know it doesn't have a letter to start with. the lady i called said that for studebaker it wanted her to input a letter first...so i didn't know what to tell her since mine doesn't have one.
