Thanks for posting. Became good friends with a RCAF Spitfire pilot thru the airshow years ago. He had stories to tell about flying the Spitfire. One thing always stuck in my mind was his critiquing of Spitfire pilots while announcing the air show, especially if they dipped after takeoff looking for retracting landing gear handle. He was killed by a clown running a traffic light.
