Your experience is completely normal, for SMS. I have heard tales of 10-12 month waits for orders.

They are not the vendor to go to when you are in a hurry, but they are the vendor willing to replicate these highly unique fabrics that were used in the 1950s.

I ordered fabrics for seats and the vinyl for the dashboard from SMS. They said it'll take 1 month for me to have them. Eventually it took many messages saying "one more month" and I got them after 6 months. They came and they were really good quality.

So I'm really happy with the quality, but next time they should be honest with the delivery times.

12 months wait at SMS is nothing! they kept me waiting for 3 years and still the fabric was not the same as original!!
