Dan, I agree. In the August 2010 issue of Collectible Automobile magazine article about the Strother MacMinn inspired car, there is a photo (p. 35) of one of the builders spotting a vintage looking headlight housing. I wish they would have pursued this idea, but they were building it for the Riddler competition. Maybe the new owner will "make it theirs" with a headlight modification. Overall, I think it is a great looking car.

Strother MacMinn was one of my brother's instructors at Art Center (before it moved to Pasadena). He has some nice stories about "Mac".

Also, there is a Hispano Suiza in San Francisco that is wearing one of MacMinn's designed bodies. It made quite a stir at Pebble Beach when it was unveiled there several years ago.
