Hey Guys,
Thanks for guiding me to get this far. I really appreciate you all pushing me away from wanting to put that 302 in her. That would have been a "HUGE" juvenile mistake! This 288 straight 8 is infinitely cooler than almost any V8. It has taken a while to get this engine started, but that is because I wanted to make sure every kink was worked out. A pressure test and some new hoses should do the trick to keep that 288 cool. My MP brakes master cylinder has already arrived, and my gas tank is soon to follow. So, possibly here in a few weeks I will be posting a video of me driving this baby down the street. Again, I thank and accredit the wealth of knowledge and helping hands this community has shown me to get another Packard engine firing on all cylinders.

Garrett,
I feel I can speak for a lot of Packard owners, It does our hearts good to see you involved with "your PACKARD". I went to the website to see the pix of the car being fired up and didn't know the volume was all the way up on the computer. When all the noise blared out of my computer (very loudly) my wife down stairs yelled up stairs, "I'm coming up there to hurt you if you don't turn the volume down". Well done!!!
