I was in michigin last week, and boy you are not kidding about the potholes! I've seen potholes where you can park a geo metro in. Bottoming out a sportscar isnt hard to do!

And birth control and welfare people have what to do with the topic of this thread?

I don't mean this to be rude, but this is all old news.

Have you taught anyone to drive a stick shift car? At least your grandchildren?

Have you been unfailingly and enthusiastically friendly to those who show interest? One way is to give away postcards of your car; it's cheap and easy.

Have you kept your various dislikes to yourself? That's the difficult one. Nobody wants to hear negatives. Nothing makes you more of an old fart!

When you are talking to someone who might be interested in old cars, they don't want to hear all the negatives.

The essence of the news goes well beyond actual news, with scandal being a sure ratings booster.

It's an interesting idea; we need more scandals to gain publicity. Perhaps we could acquire fame by being the preferred car for grumpy old men?

Rather than be querulous, think what you can do positively....
