In regard to the question about front fenders: The fenders are the same between 120/160/180.

Once you see the wrong vent windows, you really don't need to search anymore. What is the number on the original serial tag? How do you know it's original?

I really have a decision to make now..............
I really love the car and was at a crossroads as to whether just to drive the car "as is"....maybe a paint job" or a full frame off restoration. Being this is indeed a 120, that may have made the decision a lot easier.

Certainly doing a frame-off restoration on a faked 160 should be out of the question unless you were thinking of restoring it back to a 120. If the price is fair, it might still be something you could enjoy without much downside risk. If the car you're looking at indeed as a Super 8 engine, they are very expensive to overhaul correctly.

West,
I don't know if it's the original tag. It was given to give as the original.

Will the engine ID number help with the identification?
If so, where is it located? Thanks,

Well, now, that's interesting. It certainly looks real. However, as Dave (Owen Dyneto) said, some tags of junked cars have surfaced and have been transferred to faked cars.

There's an engine serial number on the driver's side, about the middle of the engine, just below the cylinder head line.
There is a casting date number way down low on both sides of the engine, near the back. It would be cast with month, date and year.

Is there a something stamped somewhere or an item (other than the vent cranks) that may help? That would positively determine that this is a 120?
As strange as it sounds, are the doors interchangeable as are the front fenders? It definitely has movable lovers in the grill, so is this only on the 160? or available in both 120 and 160?
