Thanks so much, as most Packard collectors, I am simply curious.

I just sent the e-mail to him asking him to enlighten us. I'm sure he will respond quickly.

John - I just sent you a PM about the "DuBois Owner Supplement." Mystery solved!

Thanks so much, and please forward my response to Dave!
I should have realized that was his car in the photo...but you'll understand a bit more when you read my response. Getting old is not for sissies!

I just made an update to the Esquire post on my blog

<https://56packardman.com/2016/09/06/gear-head-tuesday-the-packard-esquire/>

When I posted it, I was unaware that the "DuBois Owner Supplement" was not, in fact, supplied by DuBois to Esquire owners. The document I posted was actually made up as if it MIGHT have been used by DuBois.

There was no intent on the part of anyone to misrepresent this "Owner Supplement" - none on the part of the person who created it, none on the part of the person who supplied the photo of it to me and none on my part.

Had DuBois actually provided this to Esquire owners, it would have been a nice touch. Once again, the person who created the document had no intent of misleading anyone about its origin. File this one under the "Life Happens" category.

Here is today's blog post:
<https://56packardman.com/2016/09/20/gear-head-tuesday-ol-petrol-head-reports-on-goodwood-revival/>

We have photos of the Goodwood Revival in the U.K, but for Packard enthusiasts, there is a photo of a spectacular '56 Executive coupe painted in Naples Orange/Corsican Black and fitted with the Bendix Mechanical Fuel Injection Packard would have used on the '57s.

There is also a fun story about how "PacDoc1956" came to bring his grandmother's '56 Executive "back into the family."

The peaked lights of "Dave B.'s" Esquire and the boomerang tail of his Executive are in the lead photo of today's "Gear Head Tuesday" blog post:
