Yes, they are small like beds in very old houses. Do you know what brougth that car to Australia? It seems to be an improved version. The ignition apparatus is encapsulated.

 Panhard & Levassor was a French motor vehicle manufacturer that began 1886 (1887 acc. to other sources) in Paris.  Palace of Versailles as background for a Panhard fleet  1936 - nose-heavy K 50 truck  Dyna Z - offered at the US marked for $2,000 (but most of the cars exported to the United States lacked the centre fog light)  Today the brand is part of Renault but the brand name is still around in the market of military vehicles. Below a pic of a horseless carriage, made in 1896. But within two years the car development made a huge step forward. Pneumatic wheels superseded the wooden cart wheels and the first steering gear appeared on the market.
