Just a note that there is a huge Packard parts and literature sale coming up July 27-28-29, 2012 in Portland, Oregon.

Don Letson was a longtime Packard collector, restorer and mechanic who owned many fine Packard cars and trucks over the years. He passed away in January, 2011 at age 85.

The family business, "Letson Garage" was started by Don's father in the 1920's and moved to its present 5000 square foot building in 1944. The building is FILLED with antique auto parts, tools, equipment and memorabilia. This is an 80 YEAR COLLECTION with LITERALLY HUNDREDS OF RARE ITEMS that are all being sold individually - "garage sale" style - with each piece priced for sale. THIS IS NOT AN AUCTION. Come ready to look and buy. EVERYTHING MUST GO. You will see things that you never thought you would ever find again. Items from the 1900's, 1910's, 20's, 30's 40's, 50's and 60's. While many makes are included, there are many, many Packard items, including:

PORCELAIN SIGNS:
Large round original 1940's "Packard Service" sign by Walker Signs - excellent condition.
Large original 1930's radiator-shaped "Packard Service" sign by Walker Signs. Excellent condition.
Small original rectangular 1920's "Packard service" sign - MINT - as new in original wrapper and envelope.

LITERATURE:
Huge assortment of original Packard literature and owner's manuals from 1908-1950's. Including 6-8-Super8-12 and rare Packard truck manuals and literature, plus full-color luxury Packard showroom brochures from the 1920's and 30's. Many hard-to-find items.

PARTS:
Too many to list. Most all pre-WWII. Including:
36" 1930's Packard Senior Trunk.
1932-34 Super-8/V12 wire wheel with original tire.
Multiple radiator caps and ornaments, including senior Cormorants for '32-'37 models (2); 1920's Goddess of Speed (2), Senior Bail and Feather caps (4), 1920's Packard truck Boyce Motometer with Packard Liberty insert, plus much more.
Electrical Parts: Including headlights, wiring, 1930's Startix starter,NOS spark plugs by the dozen, tune up parts, hundreds of items.
Mechanical parts: too numerous to list. Most pre-war, small parts for everything from 120's to V-12's
