The trick with producing a series of technical videos is two-fold: one, finding technicians that are willing to slow down and do step-by-step shots, which takes a long time; and two, finding a videographer that actually knows something about what he/she is shooting. Videos like these are more than just a series of shots with voice-overs. They need to really show the intricate steps while maintaining accuracy.

Having said that, I think it would be a WONDERFUL addition to the hobby. Each video chapter could add a huge knowledge base that is sorely lacking out there. We had hoped, on multiple occasions, that we could capture Bob Aller rebuilding each version of the Ultramatic. Never got done, and what a loss to the club and to Ultramatic Owners everywhere.

The PAC VP, Craig Handley, is very knowledgable about doing technical videos, and might have some words of advice on this topic.

Here are my fender covers. After each washing, they get softer. Bought at Costco as beach towels. As seen they are long enough to cover large Packard fenders. I rarely use the vinyl covers, even on top of these towels.

I like the Packardinfo badge idea best.
