1937 Packard Super Eight bastardization completion

I found and purchased this on eBay. Since I liked what the original customizer had completed (chopped 2.5 inches, channeled 4 inches), I decided to finish it properly, i.e. stock running gear, chassis, upholstery, color choices, etc. I didn't want to see an SBC go into it, nor did I want to see anything different under the fenders, so... what the heck. Here it is.

Maybe I'll turn it into a club sedan.

That car was for sale on Craig's list for a while and they were asking a lot of money. I hope you got a good deal on it. I've to admit it looks pretty good on pictures, I'd like to see what it looks like for real.

It was an imaginary purchase. I just realized the car on eBay/Craigslist started out life as a Junior model, not a Super Eight. Oh well. It was a fun exercise.

West,

Does it really matter that it started life as a junior? You modeled some amazing-looking mongrels.

I think I really improved the looks of this car. What do you think?

You can make a lot of really neat things from the parts left over after you rebuild your engine ...

I personally strongly dislike human skulls on cars (or anywhere else for that matter).

I like the subtle changes but the 2012 rims on a 1937 car is not my taste, they belong on a sports car who's bottom is about 0.5 inches of the ground, or where the driver worries about bottoming out when an ant crosses the street
