Just recently bought a 1955 400. Am changing tires and instructions say to turn off torsion leveler. Being mainly a pre-war guy, I don't know how to do it! Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.

Under the dash edge at the extreme left is a toggle switch. Without going and looking I believe moving the lever so it points toward door is off. Testing suspension to see if it moves before raising with jack would be good idea in case I am wrong.

If in doubt, disconnect one battery terminal.
