Packard5678, thanks i appreciate the info, i know in a lot of other forums people kind of get uptight to answer maybe the same old questions......i am a gear head and love the old 50's cars and have restored plenty.....but most of those cars have factory assembly manauls and aftermarket parts galore and cheap.........this will be my first attempt at something this old and rare with just the web site for support and solutions....so thanks again to all of you!!!!

I am serious about keeping the car no doubt there .....i believe my wife has already printed the manual.....but i didn't know the Owners Manual had that stuff....thought it was more about how to use the car.... ill get after reading about it....kind of pissed i wont get the car till Nov im going to Barett Jacksons( have to bought the tickets already)in hopes of buying a old coupe......which a already have now..........

I'm sure you'll get some photos. But again from the Owner's Manual is this overhead view of one side of the front suspension showing the shock absorber. As noted to you before, the shock absorber is an intergral part of the suspension upper A-frame assembly. Perhaps you're thinking in terms of a tubular shock absorber such as is used in the rear of this car?

The 1941 110/120 Owner's Manual is 64 pages. The Packard Club sells a reprint for $20. You can order from their website, www.packardclub.org
