47 splashers - guidance

Home away from home

We are trying to remove the front end splashers. We are looking for some guidance, as the front splasher is a pretty complex piece.

The SM covers the 22nd series, while the parts manual and the bulletin "41 Clipper Body Notes" are not very helpful.
Have I missed any information out there that would make this job a bit easier?
