I'm fighting the cooling tube, original brass . . .
trying various ways to pull it from block. It just won't
let go and its starting to damage the end, pliers, etc.

I'd really appreciate any further info. or ideas short of using dynamite. 15th series 120.
Thanks,
Packard 385

I removed several using a long piece of threaded rod, with a right angle bend at the end. Fish around for a hole toward the back of the block and pull slowly. Also, check the shop manual and use the find feature to look at several old discussions on the water jacket removal.
