Are you going to keep the engine that's in it or look for the correct 359 to put in there? I really like the 54 Pacifics and convertibles. I actually like the convertibles better than the Carribean

Hey PackardO, I'm kicking around options. Being that the 359 is so prone to cracking, I'm looking at possibly putting a 374 from a 56. Everything is in planning stages at this point. I like the verts as well but very pricey....

It's not the 359 block that is prone to cracking it's just the head. The 359 engine is solid without the 359 head, just get you a iron head and throw on there and your set.
