Look at the brick wall of the background building. Directly on the brick between the 2, 1-st story windows. There appears to be some kind of a rather faint graphic of what appears to be 2 1920's motorcycles or maybe bisickles.

Looks to me that the camera moved while they took the picture, cause it looks to me it's the front part of the fire truck.

I know more about cameras than Packard's but, that is not saying a whole lot.

It is the truck that you are seeing. The bell and spare tire are obvious. This photo would have been taken with a large format camera on a tripod and a dark cover over the photographers head.

The old large format cameras had a couple layers of glass between the glass of the lens and the glass plate (the film). There is so much glass that a reflection of the truck was captured on the film. These things had to be angled just right.

Modern large format cameras they make today are much better.
