Hi

If less than 300 cubic inches is acceptable and nine main bearings requisite, you might consider a 1934-42 Studebaker President 250 ci L-Head or a 1935-42 Nash Ambassador 261 ci OHV.
For a shorter stroke, five main straight eight, the 1950-54 Pontiac 268 ci might be useful to investigate.

Please keep us apprised of your project.

Steve

.....epigram time.....
Proud 1953 Clipper Deluxe owner. Thinking about my next Packard, want a Clipper Deluxe Eight, manual shift with overdrive.
