Interesting videos. But he sure does make me feel old - not understanding a point ignition system or a 6v positive ground electrical system.

I can't understand why people will not read up on something before they dive in to fix it. Maybe they do this to make videos interesting no mention of timing. May be I'm just to critical At 2:37 on second video he talks of cutting off the tab where the eccentric goes to make points look like ones he removed he didn't do much thinking of operation unless points he got were wrong

Well, he is a youngster.
I think I'll give him credit for getting it going but I hope he repairs his radiator so he won't have to keep running his engine without coolant.
I did comment that he would benefit from having a early fifties Motors Manual to pick up some basics.
