I went to look at this '48 and it's definitely a project, but the seller has a title and he's asking $1,800 (hinted that $1,500 would buy the car).

Good Afternoon...At that price, you can do quite a bit of work and still not be upside down! If upon complete inspection, the underside is only a ball of rust...you can make back your investments using it has a parts car...Often the Packard Gods will smile on you for taking the time and effort to save yet another old girl from the fate of becoming a Toyota!
