I was a regular at Vintage Auto Parts even as a teenager and loved just going out into their yard. The last I was there they had started paving under all the cars so the Packard row was on concrete and in more recent years I had some emails with the brothers who owned it who, to my surprise, remembered me. I would not usually drive my 1940 Packard there but more often than not it was one of two 1957 Fords that I had at the time.

As for the vintage store near you, it just closed a couple years ago right before COVID not too long after I first discovered that they existed. Although I bought nothing from them for myself, I helped out a fellow in Europe with a tuneup kit of various bits in pieces mostly sourced from them when it wasn't available locally where I live now in California.

Check out my Yma Sumac site at SunVirgin.com!
