I will have to check the cost of parcel post. I also need your address. This is why I prefer to ship flat rate. It saves me multiple trips to the post office and is also insured for the same cost and the post office supplies the box which also costs money.

I have a rural address and have had issues with UPS, Fedex, etc. Is Flat Rate a USPS service? USPS delivers within 3 miles of here 6 days a week with no hassles.

Flat rate shipping is a post office service which delivers in 3 days. I have found that by the time you add in parcel post shipping, insurance, and the cost of packaging, the cost ends up almost the same as Post office Priority flat rate shipping and takes longer than priority mail. I have shipped Priority flat rate shipping for many years and have found it very reliable. It will be shipped right to your house.

That sounds fine, except that it won't be shipped to my house. It will go to either a lock box three miles from here, or to the South Bend, TX Post Office, which is about ten miles from here. Either destination is fine with me. USPS has been very reliable.
