Napa was able to order me the UY6 / 842 plugs. Should have them tomorrow.

Tomorrow is looking a bit busier, so may be Wednesday before I can try to start it.

Quite a bit of rust inside my plug wires. Are there any I can find off the shelf at a normal auto parts store?

Edit: I would guess a set for a later Buick straight 8 should be pretty close..

Buick and Pontiac had straight 8s through 1952 for Buick and maybe 1954 for Pontiac. Still a long time ago. The flathead Pontiac 8 looked very much like the junior Packard 8.

It runs! Quite well actually. The engine is super smooth and quiet. Oil pressure was about 25psi.

I ran it 4-5 times for only maybe 2 minutes total. Hard to keep it going with starter fluid, and the smoke rolling off the engine was incredible!

It was pretty awesome. I should have setup some cameras and filmed it better.
