TO SELL: 1936-37 Packard Twelve Oil Filter Inlet/Outlet Tube/Fitting Kit, Newly Manufactured

1) Used on 1936-1937 V12:
-Models: 1407, 1408, 1506, 1507, 1508 (using an L8 style oil filter)
-Kit has newly machined fittings + Copper tubing to create:
-Reference: Packard assemblies, Inlet Tube Assy: 230233; Outlet Tube Assy: 230232
-Parts book terminology: Outlet means "Oil Filter Outlet"; Inlet means "Oil Filter Inlet"; I label specifically in the procedure to avoid confusion.

2) The Kit contains:
a) 4 Fittings (2 type "A", 1 type "B", 1 type "C"): Carbon Steel, machined from dimensions off original flanges & mating surfaces; more durable than the original castings.
b) Copper Tubing: 30" of soft (annealed) 1/2" OD tubing; this is plenty to cut/bend for both lines; enough extra to rework an end or two and recut down
c) See Procedure Notes: Cleanliness is paramount when soldering; don't shortcut; I recommend pre-tinning the solder surfaces on all mating parts separately so the mated joint solder flows easily at lower temperatures
d) DONT solder on or near your vehicle; best is on a ceramic fireplate or firebricks on a bench away from the vehicle with a fire extinguisher nearby
e) Do the fluid/compressed air test after soldering to ensure joints are sealed.
