The car since not being in my possesion has had a slip yoke integrated in to the drive line which corrected the problem.

the only difference in trim i would add would be to use the lower 1/4 trim from an exec hard top to continue the chrome to the back in one straight line. that way it would not be excessive, have a spear at the end and stop just a little short due to the difference in wheel base. also the body was slightly restyled on the 56 clipper/exec in a way that more closely matches the sr cars. so the trim should fit fine.
