Packard ultramatic complete rebuild or not?

Hello lady's and gentleman..

While driving my Packard Patrician for the first few times since i have it it bled out a steam of trans fluid out of the bell housing. 🙃

It is and was not perfect fist of all it would take a while to build up pressure to engage? When started the car and put it in drive the car did not respond no drive no reverse or only with a lot of rev/rpm very slowly. Once i waited or cicled the shifter a few times it would engage and i could drive. I've noticed it would start in 2d gear and stay there. Could get it in 1st and shift by hand up and down. It also felt i had to make a fair amount of rpm to get to a good speed when cruise it would hold the speed and rpm not that the rpm would fluctuatie.

Now i got the ultramatic out of the car and could use some advice and guidance with what to check and whats smart to do now.

What i did now to this point: got the ultramatic out (what a heavy unit) and checked the seal (shot) and bush/bearing behind that ( very bad) also the i call it the converter outer shaft that rides in that brushing has some wearlines in it dont know how bad it is maybe could be reused?
Checked the inner shaft (rotating) same heavy feel turning both directions. Did open the converter the spray bearing its called? ( Locked up) So inner shaft is toast but the outside ring wich incases this bearing looks fair can be reused? All other stuff inside looks good or not bad😅
So shortthe sprag(bearing?) locked up and shot the seal....?
But what now what parts do i need and part numbers, and what to check and just replace because its all open now and should i open the trans and check/replace stuff there?
