Beautiful car!! You have chosen a beautiful background as well. You should feel proud. You've done your Patrician great.

Thanks man! I love that its basically done, but we all know there is always more work to be done to these cars. Im waiting for a rebuilt wiper motor at the moment...I love driving this thing around even though the temp down here is close to 100 degrees, im a really proud sweaty packard owner!

Took the pics with my new canon eos rebel

Beautiful car, I love the colors! As for the heat, I agree completely, and would recommend putting A/C on eventually. I'm going to in my '48, and think I'm going to have to convert her to 12V to do so. Air conditioning is one luxury that is hard to do without, once you're used to it.

I hope you don't mind Morgan, but your tail light shot is now set as the screen background on my computer! One of the other salesman walked by my terminal and said "nice rear end".....that caused a stampeed to my desk. They were not too disappointed though. It is a nice rear end!

Let me add my cudos to both your 1955 Patrician restoration and those pictures!

I agree on the taillight pictures; they are outstanding. Personally, I like the 55 detail more than the 56: gold "V" vs red octagon. In any case, you captured it beautifully.

Very nice! I like the black/white color combo. How about the interior? Add some pics - including the back seat. Do you have the hassocks to go with it?

Beautiful. Probably one of the finest examples of a V8 era Packard extant.

I have an Executive. I'd like to have a Patrician too.

However i'd like to encourage u to install air conditioning. It makes the car so much more enjoyable. The AC install is a bit of work but not all that difficult or expensive if u try to keep it inexpensive. Women, friends and family who are less enthusiastic about fine vintage tin will be more amiable toward the car if they are comfortable riding in it.

I don't mean to be picky (well, yes I do), but you have the wrong screws at the top of the taillight. They are not slotted but phillips oval head part #G162479. These are the same screws that secure your coat hooks inside. I found good stainless ones at local hardware store. Borrow one from your coathook to match it. Any Packard looking that good deserves the proper screw.
