All opinions are valid. Chrome valve covers were standard on the Caribbean only, but many owners had the dealer install them. As Joel noted he has a set with the "Packard" script painted red. I have one in the box painted red - same part number as unpainted. There was a 56 Patrician found in the midwest that had only a few miles on it. I never heard who bought it, but many voiced an opinion that it should be left as is, even belts, hoses etc. because it was a great reference source. Does anyone remember this and what happened to it?

The generator adjustment arm was mounted to the water pump manifold with the slotted end at the manifold. Next week I will post pictures of a pile of new old stock water pump manifolds with the arms attached with the slotted end on the manifold.
