Guys,
I need to remove the front and rear trim of the windows of my 55 clipper. How is this done, I know some cars require the complete removal of the windows to get it done and some you just need the tool. Any suggestions?
Thanks

I too am close to this stage in prepping for bodywork and paint on my 56 hardtop. Any guidance in procedure for removal of front and rear trim and glass is appreciated.
Thanks.

The outside windshield upper trim has two "joiners" that have a threaded stud on the reverse side. You have to remove the interior trim to get a socket wrench on the nuts to remove them. The lower joiner does not have a stud, it is pressed into place. The mouldings will then pry off but putting them back in place properly is not a job for the faint of heart. If there are no rust issues, you may want to consider painters masking tape.
