Howdy,

I am passively looking at '55 Clippers. The one listed on the PAC website in Campbell, CA. And the one on EBay near columbia, SC.., Anyone want to help me decide?

Or even any knowledge of these specific cars? My '28 is realistically years away from the road, and I need a fix! Hell, even the wifes violent opposition seems to be wavering.

Wow, living in Carlisle,PA and two major shows in the last two weeks and you are looking for a car in California. Kinda ironic but I understand looking for a certain year and model.

Only, I missed Hershey..., I got stuck in Phoenix all week. Heartbraking!!

So, does anybody with some knowledge want to make a few bucks for a ride in a Packard?

Where and when do you need someone for San Jose? I live a little over an hour away and am currently finishing my 1955 constellation (waiting for an opening at the paint shop) all else 99% done. Been driving mine for a couple of years. They are great cars.
I am not a mechanic but i have owned one for 5 years now, maybe i could do a quick assessment in a couple of weeks.
No guarantees just my observations.

That is really all that I could ask for. Starts, Runs, Stops, general observations. Take a few, non-seller photos. I believe that I can see some things that are not correct, but if done well, not a major concern, I'm looking for a Packard to enjoy, not another project. Campbell, CA shows about 85-90 miles from Modesto.

ok, what type of Clipper are we talking about?
It may be two weeks before i can go over on a weekend is that ok?
