I like it the way it is, HotRod, especially with the black wheels and chrome lug nuts and center caps. The only thing I would do for now would be to paint the dash a perfect, high gloss black.

As far as a paint scheme, I like the black and off white idea.

Sure thing HotRod!

Yeah, that was my brother who was asking the question on the HAMB. I know he isn't offended by what they have to say, but that is the internet for ya sometimes.

As for the show, I'll give you a call, or mabey I will see the PackPatty.

See ya in Austin!,

So true, so true KevinAZ......LOL

Thanks for the compliment. I love learning about the "orphan" cars. I told some others but I was trying to work a deal on a 2 door 1950 Nash and it fell through. That's when I found the Packard and as they say "The rest is history".

Hey GearRat.....if your brother is interested, I have this other 51 Packard 200 if he's looking for a car to build out. The body is in great shape, has a 288 with an Ultramatic in it. Needs an interior but so did yours.....LOL
If he's interest, I'll take a bunch of pics for him. He can make me an offer if he's interested.

Yeah, I had actually talked to him about that. I told him that you had offered the 200. And, I still have the old seats from mine. He was wanting a car older than his '78 malibu. And the fact that it's an Ultramatic would probably be a good selling point. I'll talk to him this weekend about it.

Let me know so I can get ya some pics before I leave for the show Friday night. Best thing is, all your parts are interchangable between the 51 and 52........
