In year 2002 at 38K miles i replaced timing chain. Gears were good. Used a Lempco TC346 avaialble at local parts chain back in 2002. Here is a pic 55K miles. Gears still look good. Not visible in pic but chain has side links "Made in USA".

I scaled 11/16" slop. which is probably about 5/16" too much for a 'let her slide' for while decision. Again gears look good.
