In need of a <1940's era Packard for an hour at most. Hosting our event near Charleston, SC this 4th of July at a Plantation. We are patriotic and a military family on a minimal budget. Was hoping to connect with any Packards that are in or will be in the Charleston area over the holiday. Recently relocated to SC from Ohio and have had a difficult time locating any in this region of the states, let alone from around the 1940's.

We simply want to get some photos with the Packard and I was hoping it could chauffeur me down the main lane of our Plantation morning event. We would not need it for very long at all, but our family definitely appreciates the true beauty of Packards.

Would prefer white, or patriotic colors, but with minimal time remaining, we won't be choosy.

Please e-mail me or reply to this posting.

Thank you!

Good luck with your search. That is a worthy use of a Packard. Unfortunately, there is only one currently registered car at Packard Info that was built from 1930 to 1940 and is from SC.

Have you tried posting your question at the AACA forums?

Packard Info is very comprehensive, but not all online owners know of, or visit, here.Owners are also free to not register their cars.

It is worth posting elsewhere.

I hope you find your car.

Cheers,

Tom

If there is an affiliate of the Packard Club in the area, they might be able to help. I'm assuming PI is not active in the Carolinas??????

Try the Packard club website; look for chapters or member clubs....
