Pat, perhaps the best way to satisfy your curiosity is to just look at the picture and number listings in the Parts List? Plate 31A. Two wheel bearings (one per side), 2 pinion bearings, 2 diffential carrier bearings.

I guess you mean the longevity outlook for the bearings? With proper attention to the lubricant they should rather easily outlast the engine and transmission.
