What are the main differences between a "custom" and "custom deluxe" Packard 120?

kind regards
Garrett Meadows

PS: Since I don't own a Packard, I'm asking the men who do.

The "C" does not stand for Custom as one might suspect. The "C" denotes the third model year for the 8-cylinder junior line introduced in 1935. The "D" is for Deluxe. The CDs came in two versions. The 120-CD was on a 120 inch wheelbase and the 138-CD was on a 138 inch wheel base. There is more information on these and all the other Packards in the Packard Model Info section. Just look to the left of this and you will see it under the Main Menu. The 120's little brother, the 6-cylinder 115-C, was introduced as a 1937 model. Its "C" designation was to sync up model id's. of the two junior model lines.

Everyone on this site is so accommodating and friendly, and I appreciate it.
