Hi, just a quick question - originally would a 1939 Super 8 horn ring be natural stainless finish or chromed? I just finished stripping brown paint off my ring and figured on polishing up to a smooth stainless finish but found a pitted chrome finish. Was it originally chrome or was that done later?
