I'm doing an overdrive upgrade on my 53 clipper. I've gotten to the point of installing the kick down switch. Does anyone know where this switch actually mounts? Remembering That this car didn't come originally with overdrive. Thanks!

Even the most difficult situations can be learning situations.

Should mount in the hole in the accelerator bracket positioned low on the engine side of firewall. Switch up-dn height is adjusted so the switch plunger is depressed and switch changes state when the accelerator nears full throttle. If you are using the NAPA or Cole-Hersee aftermarket replacement sw the two terminals close to the plunger are for the relay power ground coming from governor and lockout sw. The two far or upper terminals are the ign cutout circuit.
