Can anyone tell me where to find literature on the R11 overdrive unit? I believe I am missing a part and need a parts breakdown and the Packard part numbers of the various gears etc. If missing a part, does anyone know where parts might be available?

R11 info is available on site under Borg-Warner.https://www.packardinfo.com/xoops/html/downloads/BW_OD.pdf That manual is generic so not Packard specific but is the same unit. Packard had their own wiring which is detailed in the various 23-54 series wiring diagrams you can also download from the literature section. It is slightly different from the basic schematic shown in the BW book.

If our regular vendors cannot help with Packard numbered parts as detailed in the parts manuals Herm The Overdrive Guy might have some from other sources.http://hermtheoverdriveguy.com/overdrives

Fifth Avenue Garagehttps://fifthaveinternetgarage.com reproduces some of the electrical items and I believe has reprints of the BW manual but as far as I know has none of the hard mechanical parts.
