Spotted a few nice ones today on CL that are recent postings:

Very nice 1958 Sedan. Really like this one, especially the color:

1940 110 Touring Sedan. Incorrect black vinyl interior, but body looks very straight and rust free. Not sure about the wire wheel rims. Ocala, FL:

https://ocala.craigslist.org/cto/d/crystal-river-1940-packard-6cyl-speed/7617526746.html

1955 Clipper Constellation. Looks well restored, but something may be up with the Torsion Level Ride as the rear end is way up in the air. Kansas City, MO.

https://kansascity.craigslist.org/cto/d/blue-springs-1955-packard-clipper/7623178199.html

1949 (23rd Series) Standard Eight Sedan. Barn find in solid condition but needs cosmetics. Colorado:

Two 1934 Lebaron Speedster Phaeton project cars with reproduction bodies by Maurice Proux. Seller claims he has all parts needed to complete both cars, though finishing either one of them looks like it will be a monumental project. The metal work done on these cars looks truly amazing. Have no idea how anyone would be able to craft something like this. San Francisco Bay area:

Another good one is AC Delco Lubricity Additive. My mechanic, that believes most additives are snake oil, and many are, recommends this product.

Regarding sticky hydraulic lifters, I used to get very good results on an old Cadillac by using Rislone oil treatment. I came in a quart can, and 20% Rislone in the crankcase would usually free up noisy lifters in a dirty old engine. If it's still available, I recommend it.

Sales are going to go through the roof! LOL

BTW My suspected lifter issue was not a lifter but a bad wrist pin bushing on #4.

....just a short update and another little step to finish the car.
Distributor rebuild with: ……
NOS Cap
NOS Rotor
NOS Dual Points
New Shaft Bearing
New flat Condenser into the Condenser Box (for a nice original look)
Distributor Housing Shaft reamed off for 2 new sintered Bronze-Bearings (Bushings?)

Wat, yes, I haven’t forgotten and I appreciate it but I fear it isn’t there in your car so am just covering all ground by keeping the posting fresh just in case! This adapter has typically gotten replaced over the years by a different type of u-joint.

As we discussed in our conversation, I'm still on tap for a trip Out West to the second-to-last resting place for my '54 Henney hulk. Once I cut the floor out, I'll send pictures and you tell me what you want from what's there.

This will be the foundation for my How I Spent My Juneteenth paper this year.

If you're not having fun, maybe it's your own damned fault.
