Anything with the name would have to be driven first.
I've put some time behind the wheel of a lot of car from the mid sixties and later (I'm 47). This last year I bought my '54 Super Clipper and absolutely feel for the way this thing drives. As much as someone wants to incorporate styling features and engine configurations, none of it means squat if the car doesn't drive well.

Note that bronze guides have a different tolerance the iron guides. The material expands more and if you ream it to the same size as iron, your valve will stick when the engine gets hot.

Wear won't be even along the whole length. If you measure some wear or worse, see it, you need new valves.

Also tell them that even today, 65 years later, the P-51 with the Packard engine is still the fastest piston/prop airplane ever built and still dominates the racing circuit.

McMaster has everything. :)
Yes, the three inch fits perfect under the dash and the clamps snug it up nicely. I think I ended up cutting it to 18 inches. When you measure, measure the outside of the bend. Those hoses will compress up to 50% of their length for the inside bend.

Is the fabric duct still in one piece? On mine, I touched it and it turned to dust.
I ordered a section from McMaster.com. Look up ducting, fabric, flexable, black and the cheaper of those results. Order history is down right now, but when it come back up, I'll post part numbers for that and the sections I used under the hood.
