"There is also an air conditioned 41-120 Coupe here in Dallas with a well known collector, who also has an original a/c 42-120 Clipper. "
I wonder if that 1942 120 is the one we used to own. Do you know what color it is?

We owned a dark blue 1942 Series 120 that had factory air. I have no idea where that car ended up. We sold it in the early 1980s to someone in Ohio. It had less than 50,000 miles on it.
I'm pretty sure it was available on all eights, even in 1940. Cadillac also offered the same unit that Packard and Chrysler offered. However, I think that Packard is the only maker that offered it through 1942.

Hope I run into you, I'll spend a lot of time Thursday and Friday in the PAC hospitality tent and if I remember I'll be wearing a name badge in the form of a Packard patent plate. I'll keep stopping by until we meet.

I'll be there all week. As mentioned in another post, we'll be bringing the 734 Speedster to show on Saturday.

I believe the Speedster sedan that was in Warren is the one owned by the Classic Car Club Museum in Hickory Corners, Michigan: maroon with black fenders. A Mr. Steinman (I think) was the previous owner, but he donated it to the museum in the 1980s.
The other one is owned by Harry VanIderstine: can't remember the colors, but I recall kind of a tanish two-tone color.

Speaking of Speedsters, I have a factory photo of 734 two/four-passenger coupe (rumble seat). I'd post it, but it's in my dad's file 500 miles south of here. This is a car that was not advertised, nor is it known to exist.

I'll bet you're right.
I remember when I first laid my eyes on Nethercutt's Style 447 speedster coupe-victoria at Warren in 1999. I was sorely disappointed in the choice of color, and the use of white sidewall tires.

Driving George Jepson's speedster-runabout is the most wonderful driving experience I've ever had. I have had the pleasure of doing several cross-country trips with it since my father bought it in 1974. The two most memorable trips included 1,000 miles through Colorado on the 'Colorado Grand' in 2004, and a trip from Atlanta to Auburn, Indiana, to Philadelphia and back to Atlanta. The best part about driving the 734 Speedster is that is is just as much at home driving on slow, curvy roads as it is driving 75mph on the freeway. It is equipped with its original, though expertly rebuilt by Heinmuller, dual-throat carburetor.
For anyone interested, it is scheduled to be at Hershey this year, and then on to the CCCA CARavan immediately following. It is estimated that the car currently has some 300,000 miles on it. Owen: One correction. The reproduction carburetors were being advertised at $25,000, not $5,000. I believe they could sell all they could make at $5,000.

I have no problem running repro bias ply tires on my car. In fact, when Gene Tereshawty drove it, he said it was the finest 1940 Packard he'd ever driven. I drove it 2,000 miles last September and never once wished I had better tires.
The one limiting factor, though, is that it doesn't matter how good your brakes are, the bias ply tires will not stop the car in emergency situations nearly as well as with radials.

I've seen this decanter before. It's pretty neat.
I do not know how rare it is. I believe that the cormorant that came with my 1940 Packard is one of these repro birds, as the wings are "soldered" to the bird. It would be very hard to "get away" with one of these on your car, as it is very clear that the wings are not removable. I took it off of my car and am currently running with the basic bail. West
